1M Meters

I started rowing on the Hydrow in late 2021 when we got it (for ourselves) as a Christmas gift. I wanted to hit 1M meters in 2022, that was my goal. When our lovely cat was diagnosed with terminal cancer and died, I started to find it hard to keep up with the routine. But by late summer I was able to still hit 500K meters. But then in early December our beautiful dog died unexpectedly due to hemoabdomen. The two back to back losses hit us hard and even to this day, we are different people after that year took them both from us. And the 1M Meters goal looked like such a silly goal to have.

But here we are in 2024 on October 15, I’ve hit the goal, still forever sad, but trying to get back on a routine to be healthier (again).
